Provenance

A field about provenance should state its own.

The term and the founding paper. Agentic stemmatics was coined by Luuk Joseph Soons in August 2026; the founding paper is deposited at doi:10.5281/zenodo.22030516 under CC BY 4.0. It is a preprint and has not been peer-reviewed; it has been adversarially reviewed across four independent model lineages, with the record public.

This site. agenticstemmatics.org is the field’s reference page, maintained by the author under named accountability: a named party who answers follow-up questions and corrects in writing when wrong. It is deliberately not a company site. Its content is scoped to the field — definition, agenda, literature map — and its claims are meant to be checkable against the paper and the sources it cites.

Declared interest. The author operates CounterProof Research, a commercial adversarial code-review practice that applies part of this programme (multi-model collation and adjudication) and funds the research. That is a real interest and the reason this page exists: readers should weigh the field’s claims knowing its founder sells an application of them. The paper carries the same disclosure in its front matter. What keeps the field honest is not the absence of interest but the discipline around it — stated scope, falsifiers, public review records, and versioned, hash-pinned artifacts.

Corrections. Errors on this site are corrected in place with a dated note; substantive positions are only changed with the reasoning stated. Write to counterproof@protonmail.com.
